Hello, I'm Sarah, creative lead and designer behind Petit Gateau. Based in Jersey, Channel Islands. Petit Gateau was initially set up in 2013 as a way to explore my creative side and push the boundaries, as a side project I have put the business on hold over the years whilst I studied and worked as a pharmacist, got married and had 2 beautiful babies! Baking has always been my passion from a young age, I always come back to the business and now it gives me the chance to have flexibility for my young family.

I love the way cakes have transformed into pieces of art over the years, they are often at the centre of every celebration (any excuse to eat cake right!?) and can be used to express a clients personality and so much more. I specialise in decorating cupcakes with American buttercream and modern style celebration cakes with chocolate ganache. I'm highly passionate about creating unique, creative cakes that taste as delicious as they look.
